Description
The Dallas Park and Recreation Department, in partnership with Preservation Dallas, will be celebrate the long-standing holiday tradition of candlelight at City Park. This tradition has been celebrated for over 50 years, and now this a one-of-a-kind Dallas experience is coming back to the community.
Experience the holidays with a step back in time as you enjoy live music, strolling carolers, children's activities, a festive artisan market, and a special visit from St. Nick. Tickets are available in advance at ticketsignup.io.
About City Park:
Known fondly for years as "Old City Park" and "Dallas Heritage Village," the now-called City Park is a 22.1-acre, special-use park that has a long and rich connection with Dallas's history. This was its first city park, established in 1876. As Dallas’s first and oldest park, the green space maintains a collection of historic buildings and furnishings that date back to 1840.
