Heavy Ink: A Printmaking Party

This celebration of all things printmaking kicks off at Four Corners Brewing Co., where you'll get to create your own block print over a craft beer. Then the party gets inkier next door at The Cedars Union with live letterpress demos, a chance to collaborate on a surreal custom print by CU artists, and witness massive woodblock prints pressed by a commercial steamroller.

You will have the chance to shop limited-edition artwork from local university print clubs, and snap up zines, posters, and hand-pulled prints at accessible prices. Even better? You can enter to win one of the huge steamroller prints created by CU artists Zeke Williams, Desireé Vaniecia, and Alec DeJesus, with proceeds going to support The Cedars Union’s mission to uplift rising creatives in Dallas.
