Parade Schedule

The parade line-up will begin at 10am, and the parade itself will start promptly at 11am. On-site registration will be open from 9am to 10am. To ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience, advance online registration on eventbrite.com is highly recommended.

Please note that candy or other items will not be tossed or thrown by walkers or from motorized vehicles during the parade. Additionally, motorized vehicles will be separated from walkers and marchers during the lineup to ensure safety and smooth organization. Let’s honor Dr. King’s vision while ensuring a respectful and enjoyable event for all.

Parking & Drop-Off

Participants are responsible for their own parking. Downtown Fort Worth offers multiple public lots and garages within walking distance of the Fort Worth Convention Center (9th & Main).

• Arrive early. Lots fill quickly on parade day.
• Fees vary by lot/garage and are set by the operator.
• Rideshare/Carpool recommended to reduce congestion.
• Buses/Floats: Follow staff directions to assigned staging and post-parade exit routes.

For questions about restrictions near the route or staging zones, please check posted signage on parade day or ask an event marshal.

PARADE AND RALLY DISCLAIMER:

The parade will conclude with a rally at Sundance Square and Plaza. For persons participating in the rally, the Plaza is meant to be an egalitarian space that allows for the peaceful and celebratory gathering of persons and organizations in our community for non-political events. As such, no political signage, promotional materials, or political and promotional rhetoric of any kind is allowed at the Plaza.
