Grapevine-Colleyville-Southlake Moms League’s Gala: Moulin Rouge

Moulin Rouge, the Grapevine-Colleyville-Southlake Moms League’s 2024 black-tie gala, has been set for April 6 at the Southlake Westin Hotel ballroom.

The GCS Moms League, a group of almost 300 North Texas mothers, is celebrating its 30th year. Educational speakers, philanthropic events, children’s play groups and social activities are among the league’s activities. The Great Gala last year raised more than $70,000 for Stepping Stones.

Dinner, drinks, raffles, a live auction and dancing are planned for the event. Local community leader David Medina will serve as emcee.

The headliner is Brad Thompson & The Undulating Band, a party band that has performed at Fort Worth’s Main Street Arts Festival, fundraising events, wedding receptions and private parties with a broad play list. Thompson studied vocal music and guitar performance at the University of North Texas and has toured throughout the U.S.
