The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History reopened to the public on August 13 featuring never-before-seen exhibits including Beads: A Journey Across Cultures. Stop in during our public hours from 11am–4pm Thursday–Saturday, with exclusive members-only hours from 10–11am.
For thousands of years, people all over Earth have created beads, and these tiny objects have big stories. In this brand new exhibit, you'll get the chance to travel through time and discover astonishing pieces of art from around the world.
This exhibit is recommended for kids in third grade and up. Go online for a full list of all available exhibits and recommended age ranges. Check back frequently as we continue to add new exhibits.
For a limited time, museum admission is priced at just $9 for guests. Purchasing tickets online is strongly encouraged to help meet Tarrant County occupancy guidelines.
-Note that guests age 5 and older will be required to wear a facemask upon entry.
-Staff will be regularly cleaning touched surfaces, doorknobs, etc.
-Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the Museum.
-Storage lockers will be closed.
-Timed ticketing will ensure lower occupancy and will allow social distancing within the Museum.
-All objects that are frequently touched including touchable exhibits and screens have been removed.

The Children's Museum, Noble Planetarium, Omni Theater, Cattle Raisers, Energy Blast, DinoLabs, and DinoDig are currently closed but will open as soon as they can be adapted for touchless enjoyment.
