About the new park: In Dallas’s historic Highland Hills neighborhood, only 54 percent of residents have a park within a 10-minute walk of home. This work at Judge Charles R. Rose Community Park is changing that. These beautiful 40 acres are now a first-of-its-kind green space designed hand-in-hand with neighbors.

From shaded gathering spots and an all-abilities playground to restored prairies and scenic trails, this park will be a place for everyone to connect, play, and recharge. And with ties to the city’s growing trail system—the Five Mile Creek Greenbelt—this park is a gateway to nature and community pride. Learn more at tpl.org.
