Come build with Explorium! Stop by the museum on Saturday to join thousands all over the world as they build and collaborate. There are no limits to what you can create. This is a great opportunity for parent-child engagement. All ages welcome.

The Global Cardboard Challenge is a global campaign inspired by the short film, Caine’s Arcade, about then 9-year-old Caine Monroy who spent his summer vacation building an elaborate cardboard arcade inside his dad's used auto parts store.

Join the Global Cardboard Challenge at Explorium Denton as you build, play and share! This event is come and go during normal operating hours. Explorium provides the supplies, but you are welcome to bring cardboard, glue, markers, and other creative building materials you’d like to use. This will be a make and take event, so whatever you make, you are welcome to take home.

It’s a really effective way to develop 21st-century skills by tapping into children’s natural creative talents. And when you participate in the #CardboardChallenge, you join a fun, quirky and caring community of organizers all over the world.

Free with admission: $6 adults; $5 children. Free for members.
