Meet at the Dallas Heritage Village for a day of high finance on Main Street. Step up to the teller’s window in Citizen’s Bank to learn about Budgets and Business and Shopping and Saving by becoming a bank teller or pitching your new business idea. Stop by the Depot and figure out the best mode of transportation back and forth to your job as well as the how to spend your “vacation” time.
Learn about women business owners, both big and small, when you stop by the Hotel and Shotgun House. Spend some time in the General Store working as a shopkeeper, or going shopping, and at the Alamo Saloon as Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes consider the cost of having fun while completing steps to earn their Girl Scout Financial Literacy 1 badge/leaf.
Tickets online: $15 for Scouts, $5 for adults, $5 Siblings. Badges are included in the price. Scouts must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration only. Must be pre-registered by October 14. Tickets are non-refundable.
