Description
The magic of the season is alive at Garland Square on Ice, downtown Garland’s must-see winter experience. From November through January, Garland Square transforms into a sparkling holiday wonderland, complete with a full-sized, outdoor ice-skating rink made with real ice. Rent a pair of ice skating at the rink, or bring your own from home.
Whether you’re showing off your figure eights or just trying to stay upright, you’ll make memories worth melting for. Snap a photo under the dazzling lights and explore local shops and restaurants around Garland Square. Enjoy live music, holiday movies, and special themed nights throughout the season, such as A Garland Christmas on the Square in December, perfect for families, date nights, or festive outings with friends.
Rink Hours:
November 28, 2025 – January 3, 2026:
Monday–Thursdays 4–9pm
Fridays 4–10pm
Saturdays noon–10pm
Sundays noon–9pm
Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day; closes early at 6pm on New Year's Eve
Pricing:
One-hour skate session is $15, plus a $1.92 fee. Skates are automatically included with your ticket. Reserving online is highly recommended; however, walk-ups are also welcome (only card and digital payments accepted).
Admission to the ice rink is free (a 30-minute session) on December 4 during A Garland Christmas on the Square. Guests are strongly recommended to book their free 30-minute session online at simpletix.com
