Funny Car Chaos

FRIDAY–SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 14–15

Feel the rumble as dozens of nitro-powered funny cars from across the country thunder into North Star Dragway in north Denton to race for the top spots. You’ll want special ear protection to plug your ears and help the kids focus on the ground-shaking horsepower. Coolers welcome (no glass).

Friday: first qualifying at 7:30pm, Jet Dragster at 9pm, second qualifying at 9:30pm
Saturday: warmup at 2:30pm, parade at 3:30pm, Dirty South Gassers at 5pm, Jet Dragster at 7pm, final rounds at 10pm

$20 adults; $10 for military; free for kids age 12 and younger. Every time is a pit pass. VIP tickets: $100 for single day or $150 for two days; includes exclusive starting line seating area access, meal coupon and souvenir.
