About the National Medal of Honor Museum:
The museum hosted its grand opening in March 2025. Both the Museum and Monument will stand for generations as permanent reminders of the love of country and sacrifice exemplified by the United States Armed Forces, the patriots who earned our highest military honor and their legacies of service which will inspire millions to find the hero within themselves.

The National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation is a nonprofit educational organization that preserves the extraordinary stories of individuals who reached the highest levels of recognition, “above and beyond the call of duty,” in service to the nation. The Museum will inspire current and future generations about the ideals of courage and sacrifice, commitment and integrity, citizenship and patriotism; to help them understand the meaning and price of freedom; and to encourage them to embrace their responsibilities as citizens in a democracy.
