Description
Celebrate our nation’s birthday all weekend long. On July 4, the first 100 guests receive a free American flag as they enter the garden. All weekend, enjoy $2 hot dogs and root beer floats.
Friday, July 2
10am–2pm: Family Fun Friday events – painted body art, petting zoo, stroller fitness and KinderMusic
11am–2pm: Frozen Friday with Parlors Ice Cream (A Tasteful Place)
2–4pm: Concert by Elevation, an Emerald City band (Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn)
Saturday, July 3
noon: Dallas Tap Dazzlers performance (Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn)

Sunday, July 4
Some of the best Dallas food trucks can be found on our connector road as well as an abundance of vendors selling flavored popcorn, pickles, mini apple pies, chocolate-dipped fruit and more. Enjoy some classic Fourth of July music as you eat and prepare for the day’s activities.
10:30am: Window to the Wild bird show (Jonsson Color Garden)
noon–2pm: Dress in your best fourth of July fashion, grab your picnic baskets, red-checkered blankets and favorite holiday treats for an old-fashioned picnic. Enjoy a performance by Buttermilk Junction, an old-time folk string band. (Jonsson Color Garden)
1pm: Enter your jellies, pies, and jams at a booth located in the Entry Plaza for a prize. Come with your best picnic setup and enter to win a family four pack of tickets for our concert series. Winners for best of show in each category as well as the best picnic setup are announced at 1pm.
2–4pm: Presidents of Rushmore concert (Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn)
