FortWorthChild magazine presents a special showing of the 1985 movie Follow That Bird featuring all-you-can-eat cereal (included with your ticket) at Alamo Drafthouse North Richland Hills.
After being sent to live with a family of dodos, Big Bird runs away from home and begins to make his way back towards Sesame Street. All of his old friends, including Bert, Ernie, Grover, Cookie Monster and the Count, set out to search for him, and their rescue mission turns into one big adventure as they follow Big Bird across the country.
Featuring cameos from Chevy Chase, John Candy, Waylon Jennings and more, this heartwarming and hilarious tale was the final Muppet film to be released before the death of Jim Henson, and it remains a wonderful tribute to his creative genius. The film runs 88 minutes and rated G.
For Alamo for All shows, the theater keeps the lights up and the sound down. All ages are welcome and the No Talking rules are relaxed. Great for guests with special needs and new parents.
Tickets are $12.99.
