Fort Worth Zoo Run

Join the Fort Worth Zoo for its 24th annual family-friendly 5K and 1K fun run. Run, walk or jog your way along the Zoo’s lush main path and beautiful surrounding neighborhoods in support of the zoo's local and international conservation and education efforts.

Zoo Run participants are encouraged to dress up like their favorite Zoo animal, but a few rules: please keep all costumes appropriate; everyone 13 and older must leave their faces clearly visible and identifiable at all times, and you must wear your race bib on the front of your costume.

Event schedule: 
6:30–7:30am registration and packet pick-up
7:30am 1K fun run
8am 5K (timed or untimed, but course closes after 1 hour and 15 minutes)
9am animal outreach presentation
9:15am awards

Note that strollers are welcome but must move to the back of the start line in the timed 5K race.
