Description
Family Workshops are a bimonthly program designed for children 6 to 12 years old and their favorite adults. Each Family Workshop encourages creativity through a themed gallery experience before participants work together as a family to create a work of art inspired by the Carter’s collection and exhibitions.
September 7: The Golden Record
During this free event, families will spend the afternoon learning about the artworks on view in Dario Robleto: The Signal and work together to create their own artistic time capsule filled with memories, surprises, and more.
November 2: Clay Day
Loop tools, ribs and scrapers, coils and slip! Spend the afternoon learning about texture and form while making playful connections to art. Then, work together as a family to create clay sculptures inspired by Carter artworks!
Reservations are required, and registration opens on the first of each month. American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation may be provided during this event upon advance request.
