Additional Information

Description

On Saturday, March 13, find inspiration in a short tour of some of the Garden's topiary exhibit, led by the Garden staff that built them. After seeing examples and learning how topiaries are made, work together as a family to create your own topiary to take home. Held in the Conservation Greenhouse.

Please register all family members who will be present for the workshop. The cost of a child registration includes a pre-made wire armature in the shape of a turtle and your choice of multiple fragrant culinary herbs such as thyme and rosemary. Parents and younger siblings who register for free will not receive an additional topiary armature.

$32 non-member participant with Topiary or $30 member participant with Topiary (login to receive membership benefits), free for additional participant without Topiary. If you do not know your member login information, please call the membership office at 817/332-7518 for assistance.

The safety of staff and guests is very important to us. Because physical distancing is difficult to enforce when working with children, a mask requirement, even when outside is necessary for all children’s programming. If you or a family member needs to temporarily remove your mask during a program, you may step away and then rejoin the group when you are ready. Activity spaces will be set up according to social distancing needs.
