Family Date Night in the Park

This family-friendly event, Family Night in the Park, transforms Farmers Branch Historical Park into a family fun experience. Bring your family, friends, or fly solo and enjoy music, a movie, and take advantage of concessions from Nuevo Leon Mex Mex Restaurant and Tikiz Snow Cones. The first 50 kids to visit Tikiz Snow cones will receive a free small snow cone.

The August event will feature a double-band performance by Cover Down and Le Freak that’s sure to get you dancing. The night will end relaxing in the meadow area of the Park with a showing of Trolls World Tour on our inflatable big screen. Remember to bring a blanket.

Event Schedule
5pm: Gates open
5:15–6:30pm: Live music by Cover Down (cover band)
7:15–9pm: Live music by Le Freak (disco)
9pm: Trolls World Tour movie begins at sunset

Here are the kids' activities we will be offering:
-Soccer darts
-Hula hoop contest
-Face painters
-Balloon artist
-Scavenger hunt
-Location and parking

Social Distancing Safety Rules:
Social circles have been drawn out in the meadow for your safety and others. Please stay in your designated circle with your group or family.
Attendance for the event is limited to 500 people. Temperature checks will be required at the entrance before access into the park is allowed.
Masks will be required while attending the event for ages 10 and up and are to be worn at all times. Masks will be provided at the entrance.

Look online for additional COVID-19 information. The event location is Farmers Branch Historical Park, 2540 Farmers Branch Lane, but please park at Metro Square 12300 Ford Road.

Coolers are welcome, but no outside alcohol is allowed onto the premise. Beer and wine are available for purchase. Beach-style umbrellas will be allowed. Please be courteous and take them down as the sun lowers.
