This free five week program promotes a love of reading and family quality time while enhancing reading comprehension and early learning skills. Adult caregivers and children participate in reading stories aloud followed by a discussion to help develop critical thinking skills, enhance reading comprehension and promote reading together as a family.
Special activities will be provided for pre-school children ages 3–5. A light meal is provided at each session. For their safety, no child under three years of age is permitted to attend. Limited to 25 families.
Gift cards are provided to families who attend four of the five weekly sessions at one location. Registration is required. Call 817-392-7745. This program is co-sponsored with The Fort Worth Public Library Foundation.
