Description
Join this agricultural exposition and harvest festival at Grapevine's historic Nash Farm, held Saturday, October 16 from 10am–1pm and 1–4pm. Jump feet-first into fall during Grapevine’s Nash Farm’s 21st annual Fall Round-Up. This family-friendly event takes you back in time.
Events include an agricultural expo where guests can learn about processing grain, see farm animals, enjoy campfire cooking demos and other historic demonstrations, experience rope making, pony and wagon rides, games, a beans and cornbread lunch and more. The Farmers Institute, located just outside Nash Farmhouse, will have demonstrations on farm skills, such as maintaining livestock, carpentry, sewing and food preservation.
Admission is $3 for every 3 years and older. A limited number of tickets are available, so advanced purchase is required. Some activities require coupons, and concessions will be available for purchase.
Happening on the same day is Grapevine's Butterfly Flutterby. Join the parade and butterfly release from 10am–noon.
