Weather has always been one of the most dynamic and complex forces shaping our planet, but now it’s intensifying in varied and complex ways. Extreme Weather 3D takes you closer than you’ve ever been to collapsing glaciers, out-of-control wildfires, and tornado-whipped debris while discovering the surprising connections among these powerful forces. Follow researchers and everyday heroes as they uncover ways to help us understand and adapt to our ever-changing weather. Runs approximately 20 minutes. Watch the trailer here.

The Hoglund Foundation Theater, a National Geographic Experience is ADA accessible and is designed to make each one of the 297 seats the best in the house. The gently reclining theater seats are equipped with cup holders, and food and drink are welcome in the theater. Stop by the Café adjacent to the theater before your film. Theater tickets are available online in advance, or can be purchased during your Museum visit at kiosks outside the theater, or at the lobby box office.

Tickets are $6.
