Description
Everything Will Be Fine is a socially-distanced outdoor drive-in experience. Imagine a drive-in movie outdoors, but it’s live. Remain in your car and the show will take place in the parking area just feet in front of you. Tune to radio station 101.3 for instructions and musical accompaniment. You will receive a packet with additional safety notes and what you should expect. The performance runs 50 minutes.
Everything Will Be Fine is about a woman learning how to deal with a new world and her well meaning (if slightly clueless) friends after experiencing an unthinkable loss. As she moves with her friends amongst the flashing car lights, bringing joy to a tragic situation, we learn that to accept our loss and embrace our present circumstances, we’ll have to take it one dance at a time. Watch the trailer here.
Held Thursday through Sunday all month: Sept 3-6, 10–13, 17–20 and 24–27.
An original Prism Movement Theater touring production, written by Zoe Kerr. Kerr is a veteran of the Dallas stage, having performed in twenty-seven productions over the past ten years with companies like Dallas Theater Center and Kitchen Dog Theater.
Behind the scenes, Zoe has written for Kitchen Dog’s One-Minute Play Festival, studied under Dallas Theater Center’s acclaimed Playwright-in-Residence, Jonathan Norton, and received her BFA in Theater from Southern Methodist University. Coming up, Zoe will produce a cinematic version of her one-woman show Bluebeard, based on the fairytale of the same name, directed by Jeff Colangelo.
