Additional Information

Looking for the things that go bump in the night this Halloween? Come out to Eerie Irving where the Irving Parks and Recreation Department invited the city’s ghouls, ghosts and not-so-scary monsters to thrill, shock and entertain. This year's event is costume-friendly and will feature a walk-thru with a series of enclosed and open-air haunted scenes, including a meat factory, graveyard and ancient Egypt-themed room.

For the younger ghouls and goblins, there will be free Halloween activities such as carnival games, rides, an escape room, pumpkin photos ops and more. Don't miss a photo with the Sanderson Sisters! A variety of food will be on-site for purchase. Stick around for a pumpkin giveaway at the end of the night, or win a mini pumpkin at select carnival games.

Directions and Parking:
Parking is located inside the park and we will be running shuttles from those lots. On event day, attendees traveling from Loop 12 should take the Irving Boulevard exit and travel east. Attendees may access Eerie Irving from both entrances on the service road from Irving Boulevard/State Highway 356 to Trinity View. Watch for directional signs for the event. Handicapped parking will be available at the front entrance of the park. See the entrance map here.

Note that this event has limited capacity. When the event parking lots are full, entry will be closed for safety and control of traffic flow. No off-site parking available on city or neighborhood streets. Check the Irving Parks and Recreation Facebook page or the cityofirving.org website for updates the day of the event. The City of Irving is sensitive to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Should circumstances prevent the city from holding the event as planned, alternative details will be announced via the city website.
