Dwell with Dignity’s Thrift Studio

Dwell with Dignity’s Thrift Studio event is a fundraiser like no other. Thrift Studio is a pop-up shop created to provide financial viability for Dwell with Dignity by selling donated furniture, housewares, accessories and high-end designer finds to the public.

Since the concept launched in Dallas in 2011, the event has grown into a highly anticipated and can’t-miss event for Dwell with Dignity supporters, the interior design community and the general public looking for a fabulous deal on home furnishings.

Inside, Thrift Studio shoppers find stunning vignettes created by leading designers, showrooms and retailers featuring donated high-end home decor items sold at significant discounts with 100% of sales benefitting Dwell with Dignity’s mission.

Thrift Studio provides one-third of the operating revenue that allows Dwell with Dignity to change lives through design by bringing good design to those who can afford it the least. We provide the stability, comfort and pride needed to change the course of the lives of the families we help. Thrift Studio is our flagship fundraiser.

The 2025 Thrift Studio is chaired by Samantha Reitmayer Sano and Joslyn Taylor, Swoon, the studio, as well as Art Chair Hannah Brown, Hannah Brown Art.

Thrift Studio will open to the public from April 4–May 3. Admission is free, and hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 10am to 5pm. The limited-time shopping event features a curated collection of designer-donated furniture, artwork and décor at inexpensive prices, with 100 percent of proceeds supporting Dwell with Dignity’s mission.

Every sale directly benefits Dwell with Dignity, a nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives through design. By creating beautiful, functional homes for families emerging from hardship, Dwell with Dignity provides a foundation for long-term stability and success. Their commitment to sustainability ensures that every donated item—whether placed in a family home or sold at Thrift Studio—finds new life and purpose.
