Description
Dallasites are welcome to come and enjoy classical music and educational experiences at McIntyre Park this autumn. The DSO will present chamber music concerts in the park, as well as hands-on educational activities including instrument petting zoos and other demonstrations.
Look for the DSO at McIntyre Park on the third Tuesday and Saturday of each month, starting:
-October 17 from 5–6pm with a string quartet performance
-October 21 from 10am–noon with educational activities
McIntyre Park is situated on the west side of the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. The park, which is owned by the City of Dallas, was renamed in April 2023 as part of an initiative to improve, beautify and increase musical programming through a $3 million gift to the DSO from Dallas philanthropic community leaders Shirley and Bill McIntyre.
