Drive-In at DART

On Friday, August 4, The City of Carrollton and Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) are partnering to host an old-fashioned Drive-In Movie experience at DART North Carrollton/Frankford Station at sunset. The movie will be shown in the large parking area just east of the DART station parking lot. The parking lot will open at 7pm.

Bring family and friends for a showing of The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023, rated PG). Cheer on the world’s most favorite animated Brooklyn plumbers, Mario (voiced by Chris Pratt) and his brother Luigi (Charlie Day), as they attempt to fix a major water main leak underground and are transported into an alternate world. The two brothers become separated, and Mario must join forces with Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy) of the Mushroom Kingdom to take on the ruthless, fire-breathing Bowser (Jack Black) and rescue Luigi.

Park in the lot, turn your radio dial to the FM station on the screen for sound, get comfy, and enjoy the movie. Food vendors will be on hand from Auntie Anne’s, Dat’s a N’ice Italian Ice, and HTeaO.
