Description
The Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas is returning to The Southern Cross Ranch for its annual family picnic, featuring a variety of activities, including:
• Petting Zoo
• Fishing Ponds (bring your own gear and bait)
• Playground & Bubble Garden
• Clown/Balloon Artist & Face Painting
• Bounce House & Rock Climbing Wall
• Pedal Boats
• Sports Fields & Games (equipment provided, except for softball gloves)
• Swimming Pool with Lifeguard on Duty
Some of these activities will have designated time slots and others will be available throughout the day. A full event schedule will be sent out prior to the picnic so you can plan accordingly.
Sign up online at eventbrite.com. Space is limited and advance registration is required for all ages, including kids 3 and younger. Registration closes on Monday, May 12. No walk-up registrations will be accepted.
Lunch:
A BBQ buffet will be provided, with hot dog meals available for kids. Most menu items (except buns, rolls, and desserts) do not contain gluten ingredients but are not prepared in a dedicated gluten-free kitchen. Certified gluten-free cookies will be available for those with dietary restrictions.
