Hours:
Note that summer hours for these days are 8am–5pm, and that Dollar Days are some of the zoo's busiest days of the year, so keep in mind that areas across the zoo may be busier than usual.

Summer Savings Pass:
New this year, guests can add even more value to their visit with the Summer Savings Pass, a $25 attractions bundle offering discounted access to six of the Zoo’s most popular experiences. By adding a one-day Summer Savings Pass to their general admission ticket – including their Dollar Day tickets – guests can enjoy on the day of their visit unlimited trips to the Destination: Dinosaurs exhibit and unlimited rides on the Endangered Species Carousel and the Monarch Express Mini-Train, as well as a one-time pass for a giraffe feeding, a feeding at Birds Landing, and a Wild Explorer Virtual Reality experience.

Parking:
Parking will not be available for purchase online; it must be purchased on-site. Parking is $12.00 (free for members) and will be collected at the ticket booths at the Zoo. Parking at the Zoo is limited, especially on busy days. To make your visit easier, we recommend using the DART Red Line, which drops you off right at the Zoo’s entrance. DART Park & Ride lots are a great option for avoiding traffic and parking delays. Download the parking map here.

Don’t forget to pack your sunscreen and bring your favorite refillable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day. There are water refill stations located within the Zoo for your use.
