Description
Saturday, April 27, 9am–6pm
Imagine Denison as a boomtown in the early days when Doc Holliday had an office in Denison. Help celebrate Denison's formative years in 1870–1880s at this fourth annual festival with authors, Wild West photos, card games, antiques, food, music, wagon rides and a parade.
A brush arbor revival and hymn singing will also be held. The Red River Railroad Museum will have an open house and train rides for the kids. Look for some popular characters and likely a shootout by re-enactors. Visit the Eisenhower Birthplace activity booth and museum store to wash clothes the 1890s way.
