Mickey Mouse remains a timeless icon for all ages. Add a bunch of his friends, state-of-the-art technology, dazzling lights, and mind-blowing choreography — and throw it all on ice, up in the air, and even in the seats — and you get a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the whole family. If you've attended a Disney On Ice production before, you've never seen one quite like this.
Premiering in 2018, Mickey's Search Party is a nonstop extravaganza. Consummate hosts Mickey and Minnie Mouse welcome some of their closest pals and most talented skaters, acrobats, and performers to this innovative, interactive show. As a spectator, you'll cross frozen fields, endless seas, and majestic mountains. You'll journey through the vibrant, skeleton-filled Land of the Dead with Miguel from Disney and Pixar's film Coco, then travel through Arendelle, the kingdom from Frozen, to witness some jaw-dropping extreme skating.
You'll also have a chance to see plenty of classic Disney characters. You'll set out to help find Tinker Bell while watching Captain Hook's pirates showing off their impressive gymnastics. In between, Belle and her chandelier from Beauty and the Beast will come to life — enchanting you from high above your seat — before Ariel from The Little Mermaid makes her transformation from mermaid to human in spectacular fashion alongside her Prince Eric.
If that's not enough action for you, you'll also want to be on the watch for characters peeking out from various points in the arena — maybe even right behind you! In fact, the whole night is full of surprises, happening in every direction, with an abundance of Disney characters, impressive athletics, aerial arts, and dramatic set designs. Heck, adults will be just as in awe as their kids — maybe even more so. Since 2018, the show has been regularly touring throughout the U.S., so you can likely catch it in a city near you soon.
