Denton Comic Art Expo

The second annual Denton Comic Art Expo is a free to the public, family-friendly all-ages comic convention and comic arts expo hosted by the Greater Denton Arts Council. The expo features a cosplay contest, nerd trivia, zine workshops, panel discussions on comic art and video game design, food trucks, art vendors, and independent comic creators.

11am: Cosplay check-in
Noon: Nerdament podcast
1pm: Cosplay prejudge
1:30pm: Comic creator interview with special guest Andy Hirsch, hosted by Shaun Treat
3pm: Video game panel with special guests Christine Smith-Atkins, Jim Welch, and Theodore McCormick, hosted by Jackie Glatz
4:30pm: Cosplay contest

Admission is free but guests are asked to RSVP online at eventbrite.com. Visit the Facebook event for more information about the lineup and entertainment. Remember this is a family-friendly event, so please dress appropriately and do not bring real weapons.
