Legacy Dr at Colonnade Drive,

December 1–30

The Deerfield Homeowners Association invites the public to come and view the Christmas lights the neighborhood is famous for. Deerfield is located in Northwest Plano between Preston Rd. and Coit Rd. Enter from Legacy on Colonnade or Archgate. Watch all signs, drive carefully and enjoy the holiday lights. They are usually on between the hours of 7–10pm during the entire month of December. (Note that most lights do not turn on during rainy nights.)

Should you decide to walk the neighborhood, please park on a street at the far north part of Deerfield, close to Quincy Rd. and not on one of the busy streets (Old Pond, Staten Island or Penbrook) as it will cause a major traffic jam. Please do not get out of your car to take pictures as it causes problems with traffic. For great decorations with way less traffic, visit Jenkins, Sundance, Hallmark, Mackey Court.

The holiday light season runs December 1–30 from 7–10pm (earlier close down time than years prior); however, most houses turn their lights on at dark. There are no public restrooms. Deerfield is a neighborhood like any other, so please plan accordingly before visiting the neighborhood as you will wait in lines to see the lights and can get caught in traffic. Also, please keep music being played from your car at a respectable level as residents still have to work during this season.
