The Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (RDSPD) at Plano ISD provides services for more than 400 families of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in Collin County and Richardson. Join program recipients and staff at the Deafinitely Not Different run, including a 5K in the neighborhood surrounding Vines High School in Plano and 1-mile fun run around the track. The event is a chance to meet each other families and build support groups and enjoy kid-friendly entertainment including sidewalk chalk, a coloring station and a photo booth.

Register online through Feb. 22 or on the day of the event. A shirt is included with registration. Race happens rain or shine. This year's run honors program parent with special shirts. Families and staff receive a discount. Contact RDSPD for a coupon code.

Proceeds from the run this year help offset the costs of trips for students who attend Plano Regional Day School Program for the Deaf: middle school students to attend a math competition at Rochester Institute of Technology and high school students to attend the Academic Bowl through Gallaudet University.
