Description
The Dallas Zoo’s Safari Nights concert series is back – and for the first time ever, the fun is continuing into the fall.
Spring season was a blast, and following a break in July and August, to avoid the hottest months, guests can keep the good vibes going this September with three more Saturday nights of music, dancing, and outdoor adventure. Concerts are included with Zoo admission, and tickets for the fall dates are on sale now.
Set against the backdrop of the Zoo’s beloved animals and immersive exhibits, Safari Nights is the city’s wildest outdoor concert series – and now guests can enjoy it during Dallas’ most beautiful season.
2025 Fall Lineup:
Make the most of the cooler temperatures in September. Guests can catch the following fan-favorite tribute bands performing live on The Grove stage.
• September 13: Escape (Journey Tribute)
• September 20: Mighty Real Band (R&B Variety)
• September 27: Super Trouper (ABBA Tribute)
Beyond the Music – Extend Your Zoo Day:
Before the music cranks up, explore the Zoo after hours by enjoying:
• Extended hours for up-close animal encounters & keeper chats;
• The brand-new I Spy Butterflies walk-through butterfly garden (open until 7:30pm during Safari Nights); and
• Walking among the giants in Destination: Dinosaurs exhibit that is back again.
A few animal habitats remain open late, giving guests a rare chance to see some Zoo favorites at dusk – but remember, many animals head into their night areas as the sun goes down.
How to Join the Fun
• Safari Nights are FREE for Dallas Zoo members and are included with regular Zoo admission for non-members.
• Parking is $12 per vehicle (FREE for members).
• Take the DART Red Line for an easy ride to the Dallas Zoo Station, just across E. Clarendon Dr. from the Zoo’s main entrance.
On The Grove, guests can bring blankets or lawn chairs to relax on, rent an Adirondack chair for $5, or go VIP by reserving a six-person cabana (which includes six Adirondack chairs, a table, an oscillating fan, and ice water, with an option to upgrade for food and drink service). Plus, they can fuel up for the fun with a rotating lineup of food trucks, and the Zoo’s restaurants offering wood-fired pizza, burgers and sandwiches, craft beer, wine, and sweet treats.
The Dallas Zoo is open from 9am to 9pm on Safari Nights Saturdays – so guests can enjoy a full day of adventure before the evening’s entertainment begins.
