As the city’s museum, the Dallas Museum of Art plays an important role in creating and sharing opportunities for our community to engage with art and creativity. The museum has put in place new health and safety measures that will enable visitors and staff to feel comfortable and secure during their time on-site.

The museum welcomes the public back beginning Friday, August 14. Please also note new modified hours: Friday–Sunday 11am–5pm; closed Monday–Thursday. In advance of your visit, you’ll need to reserve a free ticket online.

Once you have secured your general admission ticket, you will have the opportunity to add a matching timed ticket to the special exhibition For a Dreamer of Houses at an additional cost. Admission is free to Dalí’s Divine Comedy, the new special exhibit on display on from August 14 through February 2021.

For more information about the DMA's reopening procedures, go to dma.org/visit. The DMA has instituted enhanced cleaning schedules and standards, reduced the museum’s visitor capacity, and created a low- and no-touch visitor experience.

All visitors and employees are required to wear face masks while visiting the museum. The DMA will provide face masks to visitors without one. Refusal to wear a face mask will result in denial of entry to the museum. Guests not from the same household should remain at least six feet from other guests at all times.

New hours:
Open 11am–5pm Friday through Sunday
Closed Monday through Thursday
Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
