Description

Happy Holi! Join the Holi Mela, the largest color festival in Dallas. The Festival of Colors is an annual celebration of life, marking the start of spring and welcoming life with the blooming flowers, new leaves and happiness. When we all get colored, we lose all distinctions based on economic status, religion, sex, caste, creed, or nationality.

For the past 13 years, this event has focused on embracing the colors of inclusion and diversity in celebration of the festive nature of its derived heritage in South East Asia. Holi has been celebrated for thousands of years in India and now the rest of the world. What makes the Dallas Festival of Colors special is the non-denominational inclusion of all faiths, which has led a diverse crowd of all ages and cultures.

The festival at Southfork Ranch includes live performances dance performers and troupes from all around DFW, DJs, traditional Indian percussion specials (DHOL), Indian street food, dancers, and lots of booths with little treasures including dry colors.

Color throws every half hour starting at 11am. Wear white to make the bright colors pop and get ready to party like never before. Come early to get a free T-shirt and free color, available to the first 200 entrees.
