Description
Dallas Día de Los Muertos is organizing its first mercado dedicated to the arts and crafts of Mexico to honor the beautiful tradition of Día de Los Muertos. The same arts and crafts vendors that made the 2019 Parade and Festival such a success are back and ready to serve you and amaze the greater DFW Community.
These are one-of-a-kind arts and crafts that you will not find anywhere else, only for this limited time during this three-day event. Click here to see a complete list of vendors, such as pan de muerto from Marches Bakery, "Sugar Skull Lady" Maggie Wolters.
In addition to the incredible arts and crafts, a variety of entertainment is scheduled throughout the three-day event:
Thursday, Oct 22 from 4–9pm
-Grand opening ceremony at 7pm with Erica Oviedo, live Catrina make-over session by Anel Anaya; and La Llorona by by Mauricio Carrera
-Special performance by Williams Family Orchestra
Friday, Oct 23 from noon–9pm
-Live music begins at 6pm
-Salsa demonstration by MariCongas
-Ballet folklorico by Pasión Por Mexico
-Acoustic session by Gleniel La Musa
-singer Christi Lux
Saturday, Oct 24 from 9am–9pm
-4pm: Catrina “Quince” Fashion Show, presented by Ana’s Boutique and Anel Anaya and Askar Santos P. with Cadets.
-7pm: Catrina y Catrin Contest (no fee to enter) and Lowrider Car Show
