Description

Southern Living as one of “The Best Places to See Stunning Spring Blooms Across the South,” the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden presents Dallas Blooms, the largest annual floral festival in the Southwest. At that time with the theme “America the Beautiful,” the spring festival showcases an explosion of color from 100 varieties of spring bulbs and more than 500,000 spring-blooming blossoms, thousands of azaleas and hundreds of Japanese cherry trees.

Due to the unprecedented and extended artic temperatures, the floral aspect of the festival is delayed until Saturday, February 27. The Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden reopens Monday, February 22. The festival includes special events, live music on the weekends and children’s activities including:
Blooms and Butterflies: February 27-28, 10am–4pm
Welcome the reopening of the Children’s Adventure Garden butterfly gates with a weekend of fun! Explore hands-on STEAM experiments and activities celebrating blooms and butterflies. During this last weekend of Black History Month, the garden also highlights Black pioneers in the fields of botany and entomology.

All guests 5 years and older must wear face coverings for the duration of your visit. On-site parking is $15, or $10 if purchased in advance online.
