Description

On Friday, April 29, the Dallas Arts District shuts down the streets for a free family-friendly arts festival. Family-friendly events include bubble sculptures, a photo booth, a community art project, Artisans + Makers, with gourmet food truck fare.

The block party features Dallas artists, Bandan Koro African Dance and Drummers in collaboration with Afro-Caribbean stilts dancers the Brooklyn Jumbies, student stilts dancers from Fort Worth’s Amphibian Stage, Dezi 5 and his dynamic band, a marimba ensemble, and a special installation by Dallas artist Andrew F. Scott, produced by AURORA and Downtown Dallas, Inc.⁣
