Description
In honor of the City of Richardson's globally-oriented community, the Richardson will celebrate the second annual Culture in the CORE event on Saturday, November 4 in Downtown Richardson at Main Street Plaza. The free event will take place from 10am–2pm and will feature a variety of international cuisines and vendors, as well as multicultural dance and music performances.
Hundreds of different cultures are represented within its 28 square miles. It's what makes Richardson special. It's been named the International Business Capital of North Texas by the Texas legislature, and "best foodies city" in Texas as one of the most diverse areas in Dallas-Fort Worth region for ethnic food. In fact, one in every five Richardson residents were born outside of the United States.
Come feast on international cuisine, shop for treasures from around the globe and enjoy multicultural entertainment as local cultural groups share their music and dance traditions. It brings together Richardson's diverse communities to have fun, to learn and to experience the music, dance, foods and arts of different cultures.
