Join Explorium Denton Children’s Museum for its eighth annual Coffee Crawl through Downtown Denton. This is your chance to sip, stroll, and explore some of Denton’s favorite local coffee shop, each of which will feature a special drink, treat, or surprise created exclusively for crawlers—and with kid-friendly options at every stop.
Commemorative 2026 T-shirts are available for pre-order at classy.org or for purchase at Passport Check-In on the Courthouse Lawn on event day, while quantities last.
Family-Friendly Fun
Kids are absolutely welcome. Non-caffeinated drinks and sweet treats will be available at every stop, and several locations will offer quick, hands-on kid activities. You might even stumble upon latte-inspired ice cream—because yes… ice cream for breakfast is a thing. Bring a friend, bring the family, and get ready for a morning of coffee-filled joy.

It’s a self-paced tasting tour through Downtown Denton’s favorite coffee shops—and occasionally a fun surprise stop like an ice cream parlor! Enjoy exclusive drinks, delicious pastries, and engaging STEAM activities along the way.

Your participation supports Explorium Denton Children’s Museum, a program under Denton County Friends of the Family. With the generosity of local coffee shops and your attendance, this event helps sustain meaningful programs for children and families in the community.
What to Expect
Each stop on your passport will offer a special drink or treat just for Coffee Crawlers. Want more? Additional items are available for purchase at each shop. Volunteers will stamp your passport at every location. Enjoy hands-on STEAM activities at select shops. All visits must take place between 8:30am and noon.
Tips for a Great Crawl
- Dress for the weather and please leave pets at home.
- Park once and enjoy the walk—carpooling encouraged.
