Description
Along with an incredible light show, Lights on The Lake at Little Elm Park will offer pictures with Santa, a hot air balloon glow, a Ferris wheel, a carousel, and an ice skating rink. The 24 nights of lights event will also have live music, dance performances, food trucks, vendors, and many Instagrammable spots perfect for your holiday pictures. This event will feature holiday drone shows on select nights and a kick-off holiday parade of December 3.
Event dates: Thursday–Sunday 6–10pm from November 25–December 27. And open every day during the week of Christmas and two days following Christmas (December 19–27).

Christmas Parade & Annual Tree Lighting
Join this kick-off to Christmas on Saturday, December 3. The parade begins at 6pm, with the tree lighting immediately following the parade. Stick around for the best winter fireworks show in Texas and stay for fun and festivities at Lights on The Lake.
On this night, event-goers can purchase $10 wristbands for unlimited access to our Lights on The Lake event, including our holiday light walk-through, Ferris wheel, carousel, and ice skating.
Theme Nights
November 25–26: Elf on the Shelf
Watch out! Santa's elf is back and has plenty of mischief up his sleeves. There will be photo opportunities available as well.
December 3: Annual Tree Lighting and Christmas Parade
Attraction tickets will be available for purchase on-site. Note: Due to our special events, traffic and attendance are expected to be high on this date.
December 8–10: Santa and his Reindeer
Meet and greet with Santa and his reindeer! You can even pet his reindeer and take a picture with The Big Guy himself.
December 15–17: Frozen
Bundle up as Queen Elsa and Princess Ana travel from Arendelle to spread their winter magic.! You will be able to meet, greet, and take pictures with your favorite Frozen characters.
December 22–24: The Grinch
Be sure to keep an eye on the Grinch as he plans to plot and scheme his way through Lights on The Lake. There will be photo opportunities available.
Holiday Drone Shows
The largest multi-day drone show in Texas is (weather permitted) happening right here in Little Elm at Lights on the Lake. Watch Christmas take flight over the lake with holiday-theme events as more than 150 drones take to the sky.
The holiday-themed drone show will take place at 7 and 8:30pm on the dates below, and each drone show will change based on each weekends theme:

December 21, 22 and 23
