Additional Information

Description

Before the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo gets underway (January 13–February 4), come watch Texas equestrians with disabilities compete over three days in the Will Rogers Memorial Arena. There is no entry fee to watch the riders shine in the arena. Winners are awarded belt buckles, ribbons and prizes.

Hosted by the nonprofit Chisholm Challenge, whose mission since 2003 has been to provide a professional and nationally recognized competitive horse show in North Texas for equestrians with disabilities. Annually, over 225 riders and 115 horses compete in eight events at the John Justin Arena, hosted by, and an opening event for, the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. Chisholm Challenge is a three-day event every January, which includes a full day of AQHA competition, plus two days competition with participants connected with North Texas area equine therapy centers licensed through PATH Intl.
