Description
Celebrate the end of summer with the AT&T Discovery District's Back 2 School Bash with food, fun, games and more on Saturday, August 7 from 10am–3pm.
The event begins at 10am with Cartoons on the Lawn. Have a seat on the lawn and watch as select cartoons play on the district's Media Wall, the 104-foot-tall screen that wraps on the building at the corner of Akard and Jackson streets. School of Rock DFW performs live at 11am, a face painter and balloon artist will walk the plaza, and attendees can enjoy lemonade, coffee and coloring books. Proceeds from the Dunk for Donations dunk tank featuring the Dallas Mavs and the family-friendly Lemon-Aid stand by Double Tap Bar will all benefit For Oak Cliff.
Make sure to stop by Rise+Thyme to grab your favorite beverage from their exclusive Saturday morning cartoons menu. Pair your drink with the Cereal Waffle from Press Waffle Co. located in The Exchange Food Hall.
