Description
Meet at the information desk to join Carter Playdate, a monthly program for children ages 3 to 5 and their favorite grown-up. Explore artworks together each month with themed explorations of the galleries, a storytime that connects to the artworks we see, and a fun art-making activity you can do together. Reservations are required, and registration opens on the first of each month.
Look online for upcoming dates and themes as they are announced throughout the year, including these third Saturdays:
- January 17: True Blue
- February 21: Desert Flowers
- March 21: Happy Trails
- April 18: By Land and By Sea
American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation may be provided during this event upon advance request. Carter Playdate Book Club: Love the stories you read during Carter Playdate? Make them a part of your home library! The Museum Shop offers a selection of books that are sure to become favorites.
For your children 24 months and younger, come for the museum's Itty-Bitty Art program. And for toddlers 2 to 3 years old, come for Toddler Studio.
