BlastFest

On Saturday, October 15, join Our Redeemer Lutheran School of Dallas  for an out of this world experience: BlastFest 2022. Our Redeemer Lutheran School (serving ages 1 through 6^th grade) is celebrating all things SPACE in a fun festival that includes a planetarium, crafts, activities, a food truck, shaved ice —and scheduled small rocket launches by Tripoli North Texas, which is dedicated to the advancement of high power rocketry, motor research and development, and STEM support at all academic levels.

The event will have ready-to-launch rockets available for school age children in attendance. Here you'll learn about building and flying model rockets, see operational rockets on display, and experience demo and participant flights on the Our Redeemer soccer field (weather permitting).

Activities from Kidventure
Kidventure Camps will be providing exciting and creative activities for preschoolers and up for this free STEAM event: balloon and air powered rockets, fun crafts, and the Gaga “Crater”—an inflatable pit for a variety of fun ball games! There will also be information on their winter camps, summer camps and Kids Night Out offerings. (Please make sure to complete the event waiver in order for your child to participate in all these fun activities.)

The fun is spread over a 10-acre campus across Park Lane from NorthPark Center for this event that is open to the whole community. The event is rain or shine; the rocket launch will be dictated by weather conditions.
