Bedford Holi Festival of Color

Holi is an ancient Indian celebration that marks the beginning of spring after a long winter and is symbolic of the triumph of good over evil. This free festival on Saturday, March 8, includes performances by local dance groups and DJ Phonixx that will keep the energy up all day. The highlight of Bedford's Holi event features throwing colored powder into the air and on one another, creating a bright sea of colors. The festival at Bedford's Generations Park at Boys Ranch runs from 11:30am–2pm with the big color throw at 1:30pm.
