Be My Neighbor Day

On Saturday, March 25, join Daniel Tiger, Katerina Kittycat, and KERA for a very special Be My Neighbor Day, hosted by KERA at Klyde Warren Park in downtown Dallas. The event is free and open to the public, however registration is required by visiting kera.org/neighbor.

Inspired by one of public television’s most beloved programs, Mister Rogers Neighborhood, Be My Neighbor Day welcomes families from across North Texas to celebrate and learn about the importance of being a good neighbor.

Children can participate in craft activities that help our community, a cultural marketplace and live performances by Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat. More entertainment:

- Yoga for kids
- Face painting
- Crafts
- Instrument petting zoo
- Hugs, photos and story time with from Daniel Tiger

Story time with Daniel Tiger (KWP Performance Stage): 11am and noon
Meet & Greet with Daniel Tiger (KWP Children’s Park Treehouse Stage): 10:15am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:45pm
Meet & Greet with Katerina Kittycat (KWP Children’s Park Treehouse Stage): 10:45am, noon and 1:15pm

Charity Donations
This year, families are also encouraged to bring items for donation benefiting Literacy Achieves and Vickery Meadow Food Pantry & Clothes Closet, a project of the Vickery Meadow Neighborhood Alliance. Accepted items will include children’s books and arts supplies, toiletries and more. See the full list here.
