Description
The Arlington Public Library is proud to present Authors in Arlington, a new program focused on connecting the community with popular and influential authors. The library hosts Nick Solis, an award-winning author with books such as The Staring Contest, The Color Collector, My Town, Mi Pueblo, and The Littlest Grito.
He has been the recipient of the Water Dean Myers grant from We Need Diverse Books, and was nominated for the 2020 Austin SCBWI Cynthia Leitich Smith Writing Menor Award. He is also an award winning elementary teacher and has taught all over the world.
Please join this special event to learn more about his life and becoming an author, his writing, and his books. Afterwards we will have a moderated Q&A session as well a book signing for those who would like to have their books signed. Learn more here.
