Art Jam

Do you have creative kids ready to expand their talents? Does someone in your family know all the latest dance moves from TikTok? Is your tween a poet and they don’t even know it? Flex the right side of your brain and show off your creativity at Meow Wolf Grapevine.

Every Sunday, join Art Jam, an the immersive family friendly dance party pulsing through the worlds of The Real Unreal. Doors open at noon.

Your ticket gives you a full day of incredible music, art activities, and access to the whole exhibit! Be ready for surprises and delights. Will there be a face painter? Will there be a conga line? Who knows!

Art Jam has the intention of transporting you into a pop-up world of dance, art, and family fun! Make sure to wear your funky party shoes to move in and prepare to party the day away and let your creativity blossom in the Real Unreal every Sunday from noon–8pm. Here are four key things you need to know to have the most extraordinary time at Art Jam:

Move It n’ Groove It
Let the music move you in Neon Kingdom. Don your best neon attire and glow the day away with fun glow toys. The tunes will be flowing starting at noon. Shake what your momma gave ya with your Momma! With old-school and nu-skool jams, you might even see the robot do the running man, floss the tootsie roll, then nae nae and percolate with a stanky leg.

Story Spinning
Explore the spoken and written word throughout the day with Story Spinning in the Forest. Group readings at 12:30pm, 2:30pm, 4:30pm, and 6:30pm. Interactive writing activities including Creature Compositions, One-Word-Stories, and Fill-In-The-Blank Pad-Libs.

Instrumental Jam Session
Make some joyful noise with fun musical instruments, and maybe learn some secret piano codes for the mirrored piano. With group Jam sessions at 1:30pm, 3:30pm, 5:30pm, and 7:30pm.

Open Studios
Looking to expand your creative dimensions? Join Open Studio Time every Saturday & Sunday from 3–6pm as the Matt King Mystery Center opens for humans of all ages to learn new skills or sharpen old ones. Explore a world of art supplies, guided activities, and endless possibilities. Helpful staff will assist you to find your creativity and maybe find yourself with the use of fun coloring pages, collage making, bracelet making, and more.
