Art in the Square

Come celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Art in the Square in Southlake Town Square April 25–27 with Methodist Southlake Medical Center as presenting sponsor. Art in the Square is an award-winning, nationally ranked fine arts festival with a giving heart. Bring your family and friends for a fun-filled weekend of abundant art, music, tasty food, refreshing spirits and children’s activities.

Kids Activities:
Kid’s Korner, sponsored by Cook Children’s, will offer numerous activities for creativity including face-painting, wearable wings decorating, acrylic on canvas painting, and a pinwheel craft.

In The Zone, kids will create laughable fun while bouncing, climbing, jumping and sliding. Activities include bounce houses/inflatables, a bungee jump, rock climbing wall and carnival games.

Artworks on View:
Southlake Women’s Club is showcasing the remarkable artwork of 150 juried renowned artists. All net proceeds from this nationally recognized event will benefit NE Tarrant County charities.

Visit Arts Alive for a fun, interactive art experience that is full of artistic photo ops. Tour the Youth Art tent to view the exceptional, juried artwork of NE Tarrant County high school students.

Artistry continues on April 30 and May 1, when Methodist Southlake will host an art reception showcasing the Art in the Square Youth Art winners and outstanding young artists from surrounding school districts.

Food & Drinks:
Experience elevated cuisines from the wide variety of food offerings including: Caribbean street food, BBQ, gyros, corn dogs, crepes, shaved ice, popcorn, smoothies, specialty biscuits, Honey Lu’s Coffee, and more.

Complementing the food options will be offerings from The Vineyard on Grand which will feature premium wines, plus beer tents, and many other beverage options all while enjoying incredible selections and varieties of art that can become yours.

Live Performances:
The Methodist Southlake Main Stage hosts a playbill of free performances radiating energy from all genres throughout the weekend. The headliner event will be on Saturday, April 26 at 8:30 pm. Playing a live tribute to the legendary rock band Queen, featuring their greatest hits and arena anthems, The CROWN JEWELS will electrify the crowd with a spectacular concert experience for the ages.

Community stars from schools, performing art studios, dance groups and more will perform on the prominently featured Texas Health Hospital Southlake Gazebo Stage.
